What people are saying about Sword of Damocles ~ Hard-hitting and imaginative, this book is an absolute cracker. ~ The interplay between the characters is a delight. ~ The pace and style of writing was well done, the threads of the story slowly and cleverly ran together. ~ A great balance of police work, home life, and crime. ~ Thoroughly enjoyable read. Would read more of this series. ~ Eddie, the main character comes out with some wonderful comments. My favourite was 'defective' instead of detective. ~ This is an excellent book and I'll certainly recommend it to all my crime-lover friends. ~ A BIG thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable read, Andrew! ~ The central character has (for me) a touch of David Jason's DI Frost about him (poignant and just this side of depression)... ~ This could easily be the basis for a successful television series. ~ The book escalated to a page-turning read with a great finale. I, for one, will definitely be reading more from this author. ~ The best feature of this book for me was that the main character is a CSI officer as opposed to the mainstream detective. I found this very refreshing and interesting. ~ I won't spoil anything but I have to admit to my mouth hanging open on the last page! ~ It was well written and I loved the banter and humour from the characters. I would recommend anyone who enjoys a good crime thriller to give it a go. ~ I really liked the fact that it was a little different from the usual police detective books. It was an interesting perspective from the CSI view. ~ This book kept me gripped from near the beginning right to the end. It had great twists and turns that left me wanting to read more.
